Postmodern Company got a call from GQ about a secret shoot that would be taking place in Denver with a high profile NBA athlete and some local high school basketball players. We were thrilled to fully collaborate with GQ and Steph Curry, the NBA MVP, to surprise these 5 local high schoolers with a trick game of “HORSE”, Steph Curry style. GQ released the video as part of their “Behind the Cover” video series. With limited availability to Steph and the players, we partnered with GQ to develop a quick, fun production strategy for the shoot and then mapped out the full design for the edit, music and sound design, and color correction. The camera doesn’t lie; Steph’s a great guy.
